To defend Canada’s sovereignty and its people from the attempt of other countries to impose their legislation on Canada.

Our Mandate

May 2020 UPDATE: We need to raise from our supporters a second installment of C$60,000 to pay the cost of Gwen and Kazia's appeal of the Canadian Federal Court FATCA decisions. Please help.

On August 11, 2014 Plaintiffs Ginny and Gwen filed a lawsuit against the
FATCA agreement in Federal Court of Canada. See the original Claims

We lost the Federal Court battle (Martineau and Mactavish decisions) and Appellants Gwen and Kazia are now appealing both rulings in Canada’s Court of Appeal.   A Notice of Appeal was filed on September 30, 2019.

Gwen and Kazia say that the Canadian FATCA turnover to U.S. IRS of private information of a subgroup of Canadian citizens – made only because of threat of harm by the U.S. – violates the Canada-U.S. Tax Treaty and Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Donations are needed from our Canadian and International Supporters to pay for the appeal.  Appellants have raised the first installment for legal costs of C$45,000 and need to raise a second installment payment of C$60,000.

We expect that this case will only be resolved in the Supreme Court of Canada.
